I should have tried the screw on test in the store when I purchased this item, but I figured I'd give it a try and see if the claims of being truly orbital in function were true.The orbital spraying capability definitely holds true and I really do like the misting capability of this sprayer, but the top doesn't have much thread to hold it together. It's like the lid of a jar of jelly that pops off if you over tighten it.
I just used it for the second time in my back yard spraying a solution of Neem oil and water on my garden plants. As I moved from 1 plant to the next the bottom dropped off, hit the ground and the Neem solution shot up in the air and landed all over my leg and foot. Thank goodness it was Neem and not Physan. Needless to say, unless you are willing to hold this together with some duct tape, stay away from this product especially if you are using anything harmful to the skin, etc.
I've used at least 5 different sprayers over the last 5 years and Selig and BottleCrew's professional sprayers in my opinion are the best.
In summary if Delta could redesign the threading on this bottle I would by 5 more simply because their claim of it being orbital is very true and it does mist like none of my others do.
