I bought a bunch of these to top off standard big box 4x4 pressure treated fence posts. They are made of plastic, but they seem sturdy and substantial. They work fine as long as you are careful not to drive the top nail in too deep (plastic will crack if abused). They only come in black, so I had to spray paint them aluminum color to match the existing fence tops. I will be buying more of these, as they are priced reasonably.
