Zareba UFT universal Fence Tester Review
This does work on my 7,000 volt pet fence but in sunshine you can't see the bulb glow. There is no metal tip, only the hook is used for contact and contact is 'iffy' with polyrope, wire should be fine but it's too dim to see.I then went with the Zareba multiple voltage unit which has several neon bulbs indicating voltage and a better contact point. Direct sunlight is still a problem but at least I can tell what the voltage is.
