Ultra Premium Red Label Penofin - F3mcmga 1G Cedar One Coat Review
I have a log cabin in northern Colorado. I coat the cabin with Penofin and watch the other cabins fade and peel over time. I coated the deck with another product when I first built the cabin, and the pigment stayed on the surface and peeled the next year. This is when I found Penofin red label. I sanded the old deck stain off of my redwood (what was left of it) and when I applied Pen red I was amazed at the depth of the wood grain and to this day it looks like the first day I refinished it. The conditions are not the same as an ocean beach but snow sits on the north deck most of the winter and I don't have any mildew. So save yourself grief and use this product first. Don't be frightened of the price. You will probably have to redo other products yearly at tremendous effort and expense and this is one coat only.
