Liquid Fence 160 Snake Repellent, 1-Quart Ready to Use Review
I believe it does repel the snakes I have (standard New England garter snakes), but the stuff smells foul and you can't use it indoors. (Putrefied egg is probably the guilty ingredient.) I am trying to keep snakes from getting down my bulkhead stairs where they get trapped and die. That seems cruel and also smells bad.I had hoped to spray the top inside edge of the cement stair unit and the doors, but that smell immediately goes into my basement. I have a door at the bottom of the stairs and I can see where the weather stripping is not tight any more. I will replace it and see if that blocks the smell.The other issue is remembering to re-spay every few weeks. As it is now, I open the bulkhead doors and maybe find a baby snake or two. I catch them with a dustpan and release them elsewhere. Then I spray again. The situation is a lot better than it was, but not solved by any means.
