Suncast Resin Cathedral Fence Review

This Suncast Cathedral Fence is made of glossy plastic looking resin. My expectation for an good old "iron-cast-look" was not met. Also, to my surprise, the cast is "hollow" on the back side, so it really only works if no one sees the back. I guess, you get what you pay for. I decided to send it back (without any problems!) and eventually bought nice fences from Smith & Hawken.

Liquid Fence 147 Goose Repellent, 1-Quart Concentrate Review

I have used this product for the last two seasons at the lake. It works GREAT, our yard is free of goose droppings while the neighbors are not so lucky. The only draw back is the smell, I mean it really stink's! We make sure to apply it right before we leave for the week, when we return the smell is gone. We usually apply only 3 to 4 times the entire season, 50 ft lake front a gallon will last two years.

Cemetery Fence 2pk Review

A great prop to decorate your front yard for Halloween. I used it to set off my front yard filled with fake tombstones - it looked great. I would recommend getting cheap stakes at a hardware store to drive in to the groud, then attach the fence to the stakes - if you have hard ground it's quite easy to break the stakes off the bottom of the fence.

Country Corner Picket Review

My husband and I purchased the first one in a local big box store. After we put it up, we discovered we wanted another and they didn't have any others left. I bought two signs, one for the front and one for the rear of my home. The biggest complaint I have is the cheap, plastic, stake used to hold the up the signs. They are way too short. When you push it into the ground, the sign (also plastic) is so low, no one would see it. I had to tape the sign to my rear storm door window so it could be readily seen. That looked tacky. I had to place the front sign in a flower box to be seen. That one keeps getting blown over when it is windy. My old sign (now broken after 20 years, from storm damage) from a previous security company had a strong, metal stake about four feet long. The Swann sign also came with stickers for windows and doors. They were written in English and Spanish. I thought the Spanish language stickers was a bit too much, inferring that Hispanics might try to break in my home. The yard sign itself was also bi-lingual. It is a matter of getting what you pay for. They were cheap in price and unfortunateluy, cheap in value. You may be beter off getting security signs from a box store where you can see them before you buy.
